Dr. Madeline Cohen

Dr. Madeline Cohen is among the 5% of practicing optometrists to have attained Fellowship in The American Academy of Optometry. She holds a Masters degree and is an honor graduate of Rutgers University.

Dr. Cohen performs comprehensive optometry, with specialization in difficult and unusual contact lens fittings, including bifocal and monovision lenses, as well as the newer “hybrid” contacts for patients with corneal abnormalities.

She received her Doctor of Optometry degree in 1994 from the SUNY College of Optometry, and has practiced at Huntington Eye Care since 2004.

Dr. Cohen has a passion for giving back to the Long Island community, and she contributes her spare time treating patients with severe disabilities. She is fluent in American Sign Language.

Dr. Cohen is on the Board of Directors of the Nassau County Optometric Society, and has been a member of the American Optometric Association for the past 18 years.
